The only thing that really can cause this is a shorted motor in the refrigeration pump capsule.

Try contacting the hotline again and ask them if the freezer has a frost sensor on it. If it does, the sensor is not kicking the thermostat to allow for the unit to defrost.

SOURCE: Kelvinator fridge freezer keeps triping

Another possability is that the defrost element may be making contact to ground via moisture during the defrost stage, and this would only happen about every few days or longer or not at all depending on where the drips fall

Bought Bush fridge freezer 13 months ago. fridge broke down twice with same problem. defrost timer. Can i complain to bush

you can ask again for it to be looked at repaired
even if it is out of warranty
fixed twice during warranty period (for free i hope )

if point of sale will not refund or repair or replace fridge freezer

you will need lots of paper work receipts of repairs and calls and conversations made etc etc
then you have to take the company /manufacturer of the bush fridge freezer to small claims court and try to get money back

Kelvinator fridge freezer keeps triping the earth leakage switch. Is this problem coming from the compressor? Will work fine for long periods of the day/night

Hi
It is very possible that it is the compressor, but these types of problems are very hard to track down...but I agree... it sounds like it could be a problem with the compressor.
