Well..then..is the data on that drive important to you? if you choose to format the drive, all that will be lost. BTW, do you know anyone near you that has done this before. It is not usually recommended for someone on the early part of the learning curve.

You might try system restore option and restore it to a date you know it worked well
1.
Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore.
2.
On the Welcome screen, click Restore my computer to an earlier time, and then click Next.
3.
On the Select a Restore Point page, select the date from the calendar that shows the point you'd like to restore to, as shown in Figure 2, and then click Next.

Figure 2
4.
On the Confirm Restore Point Selection page, verify that the correct restore point is chosen, and then close any open programs.
5.
Click Next if you are ready to proceed or click Back to change the restore point.
6.
The computer will shut down automatically and reboot. On reboot, you'll see the Restoration Complete page, and then click OK.

After reviewing the stability of your system, you can choose another restore point or undo this restoration. Just open System Restore and make the appropriate choice. After you use System Restore, you'll have an additional task, Undo my last restoration, on the System Restore Welcome page. Remember that you'll have to reinstall any programs that were installed after the restore point.
If System Restore doesn't work in Normal Mode, it might work in Safe Mode. To use System Restore in Safe Mode, press the F8 key during reboot and choose Safe Mode. When your computer starts in either Safe Mode or Normal Mode, System Restore can be used to capture a working previous state. System Restore can't be opened unless the system is bootable into one of these modes.

The 2nd partition (D:) may be your Factory Recovery Partition? How large is it? I would do a Cleaning and some Tweaking of the Laptop first. Use these two Freeware programs to help with the cleanup. 1, CCLEANER: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ Run the cleaner, look at the Applications tab to customize your cleaner, Runthe registry cleaner, delete all results, Open the TOOLS section, select the STARTUP section, disable ALL unnecessary startup programs to speedup start and running, Use the UNINSTALLER to remove Any/All unnecessary programs. 2, download freeware MALWAREBYTES: http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/ In the install UNCHECK the TRIAL PRO version, you want the freeware version, Run a FULL scan, delete ALL results, reboot. Run a FULL scan with your up-to-date Anti Virus, delete ALL results. Do ALL your Windows Updates and Laptop Manufacturer's updates. Can i upgrade lenovo c300 processor

You are limited to 2 processors, I don't know which you have, see the specs: http://shop.lenovo.com/ISS_Static/WW/AG/merchandising/US/PDFs/valueline_desktops_techspecs_062509.pdf Depending on your OS, Windows Vista, right? Is it 32 or 64 bit? If 32 you can add up to 4Gb's of Memory, it will only use 3.80GB's or so, with 64bit you can add more. Perhaps your Computer needs a Clean up. Her are some tips to speedup Windows Vista: http://www.pcworld.com/article/143538/windows_vista.html OR, http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/optimize-windows-vista-for-better-performance OR, http://windows.about.com/od/customizingwindows/ss/speed_up_windows_vista_all.htm Try these freeware programs to speed up your machine and remove the junk. 1, CCLEANER at : http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ This freeware program has many useful tools the cleaner will remove junk and free up disk space. In the TOOLS section, STARTUP section, disable ALL unnecessary startup programs, most software you add want to start with windows and adds a software update to your machine which slows down your computer. Remove ALL unnecessary toolbars and Search providers from broswers they are killers on broswer speed.2, Download freeware MALWAREBYTES at: http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/ In the install UNCHECK the TRIAL PRO version, you want the freeware version. Run a FULL scan, delete ALL results, reboot. Run Windows Updates for current updates. Post results for further assistance.

Very slow my computer vista..pls help me

Glad to HELP YOU!

I'd suggest you - FIRST OF ALL - to check if your SYSTEM is meeting the Vista requirements:
- 800 MHz processor
- 512 Mb of RAM (at least)
- DirectX 9 class graphic card
- 32 Mb of graphics memory.
If all above are met than you can also do (to SPEED UP your computer):
- defragment your hard drive
- remove all unused shortcuts and files from the desktop
- setup your system for NO ANIMATED WINDOWS and choose STABILITY from
START > CONTROL PANEL > SYSTEM > ADVANCED SYSTEM SETTINGS.

GOOD LUCK!

My pc.. desktop is very slow.. its a windows vista

You may want to look into upgrading your RAM if there is less than 2GB installed. This is a recommendation that I have found in working with several PC's running this Operating System. Also, you would want to run disk clean up and remove any temporary files that Windows finds. Deleting any other temporary or unused files from your PC on a regular basis should increase system performance. In addition, if these steps do not solve your problem, you may want to consider upgrading to a faster performance hard drive (preferably a SATA II with a 32MB cache). As a last resort, you may look at your CPU to see if there is an upgrade for it, as well. Keep in mind that Vista is a resource hog and can slow down a PC within just a short period of time.

My computer is running slow it takes 10 mins to load up from start

things to try ,
1 depending if you have windows vista or xp or 7
if vista start, all programs, accessories, Command and prompt, Right Click it then run as administrator.
if xp just click it,

then Type chkdsk /f
this is a command to scan the computer for errors and fix them. reboot the computer and wait for it to do the scan this should make it a bit faster , try defragment , delete your browser history and cookies, disk cleanup on accecoties, system tools

Want to delete philips fun cam

Try opening task manager (control, alt, delete) and stopping this program before you delete it. Subsequently, you can go to "My Computer" or "Computer" in Vista, then to your hard drive and delete the program from there. I've done this with many hard to remove programs, including spyware.
