Why the code error E000003 appears on my canon ir2520 ?

Hi Daniel. Fixya is a public forum where people like you and me provide answers to technical problems that are posted by each other. This is a voluntary effort and therefore generally we cannot expect responses immediately. There will be hundreds of people like us who might be looking at the problems at the same time and thinking of solutions and everyone tries the best to reach out with a solution they can think of and may not be the most appropriate but all try.

To the best of my understanding e00002 and e00003 error codes in Cannon laser printers is linked to the Toner cartridge. Generally Cannon recommend that a service call is logged for all errors and therefore do not publish the codes in their user manual. The best option may be to first take the toner cartridge out and tap it softly and put back. If the discharge container is getting full then might replace it.

May i know, for which product you were searching for drivers and may i know, whether you get any Yellow Exclamation mark for any particular product in the Device manager?

Please post your question as a comment, and we may solve your issue.

PCL XL error when i give command to the printer from my pc, i get the following error PCL XL error Subsystem: KERNEL Error: IllegalTag Operator: Oxlb Postion: 6

I already answered this, but the response did not get posted.

The short answer is that the PCL XL interpreter has picked up the use of the "Escape Code" (0x1B) in the incoming datastream. This command is used for the standard versions of PCL, most notable PCL 5e. It is not used in the PCL XL datastream.

I do not have a disc for canon laser class 3170 and I need the printer to work

Hi there,

You don’t specify which operating system you have on your computer;therefore I give you this page, to select the driver to your OS.
If you incounter problems with the "new" PCL6 driver, then try the "older" PCL5.

plz let me know how it goes.

Service reqd E511

I was able to get hold of a schematic diagram to locate the part number for sensor :
part code 2090463 SENSOR TR-0
When I inspected the original part the pcb was cracked therefore the sensor was unable to dectect the 'mirror' which is a silver square located on belt on photo con unit.
If you require a copy of the schematic diagram (pdf) let me know an address to send it to.

Oki macroline 520 alarm

Are you using pin feed paper Alot of times I find the paper holes down under the platen and blocking the paper sensor flag. Get a can of compressed air, remove the platen and paper deflector and clean, clean, clean.

Ricoh CL3000 Laser Replace Waste toner

Couple of things to try: - If you just emptied the waste cartridge then you have to take the bottle back out and clean the insides as well. The sensor sees the toner on the walls and still thinks it?s full. FYI as typical the manufacturer recommends replacing the bottle with a brand new one. - If not that then you may have toner covering the optical sensor. Try blowing the area where the waste bottle attaches to the printer with canned air. Let us know if you have any other questions and please don?t forget to rate this post.
