Question about Daewoo Microwave Ovens
Oven shuts down completely (as if a circuit breaker was thrown) after running less than two minutes on the heat food cycle. The light that normally goes on, does not come on. When the oven shuts down, it takes about 5-10 minutes for it to cycle back on with a prompt. It's of absolutely no use since everything takes longer than the time it will stay on!

How long does it run before it fails? Does it look like the display is getting scrambled characters? I'm leaning toward a bad magnetron, but it may be more or less than that. If you can give more details and especially the actual full model number (as opposed to the model name Advantium 120) that would help. Thanks!

SOURCE: GEJE2160 Stop Working
It probably blew the main power fuse in side the oven. This may have happen because of a failure in the microwave or a line voltage surge or what ever. Repalce the fuse and see if it work. be sure to unplug it before doing this, If this does not fix it then you have a failure in the oven some were.

I would suspect you have a failed high voltage transformer or maybe magnetron.

could it be that i didn't follow the manuel because i got it second hand or is it because something is wrong with it,and i have to get it fixed.

it stops after 22 seconds, that means the controller has detected a
problem, usually a problem with the inverter or a bad magnetron.
Due to the lethal voltages used and produced in inverters, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.
