Question about Xerox Phaser 8560DN Laser Printer

Second side printing driver

One of our computers in my office has the capability to print 2 sided copies, but we need that driver for other computers. Anyone know where I can find that driver, I already contacted customer support and got no help.

Yep. Go to Xerox.com , click on support and drivers. Then in the search box enter 8560, click the search button, then you will see in red letters a few selections. Click Downloads and Drivers, Once there you will see several options. I would recommend Post Script driver for that product. But there is a Global, a web based, and a standard PS as well as PCL drivers , a driver install progeam and also there should be the most recent firmware update for that product. If you happen to be running an older OS, use a Legacy driver.

Double sided copies

Your printer has Duplex printing Capabilities. However when you are ready to send the print job, open the Printer Properties and select Double Sided.

To copy a Double sided document, insert it in the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) and open the copy settings on the machine and select Double sided.

You should be able to go to your printer, right click and select Properties, select Preferences, make sure the computer knows that the printer has 2>2 (duplexing) capabilities. See if you can't locate a place to select 2 to 2...

Can not print on two side of the paper

Not enough info. Not all printers are capable of printing 2 sides automatically, most are manual. You print one side, turn over the paper in the feeder and print the second side. Read your manual to see if it does 2 sided printing automatically.

I have a Savin 9400 copy machine. It will not print 2 sided copies. Everytime I try to print a 2 sided copy, it jams after it prints the first side and before it prints the second side.

Hello sir; You need to clean the reverse roller with alcohal, if you don't know which one is reverse roller then you can clean up all the roller in duplex unit.

2 sided printing problem

What driver did you download? The PS driver is much less capable and I am wondering if thats what you downloaded.
I am using the PCL driver and the selections are 1 sided, 2 sided long edge , 2 sided short edge.
Unless you are runnung CAD, you really should be running a PCL driver.
Maybe I am misunderstand what you are telling me also.
If you have the PCL driver and thats still a problem let me know and I will forward all I can find.

AL1641 CS won't make two sided copies anymore

Sounds like a driver or configuration problem, 1st) Make sure when you are printing, to go to Properties, you must choose 2-sided printing each time on that model, some programs won't allow you to change your printers settings.
2nd) go to control panel/ printers/ Al-1641, right click, properties, In the first tab General it should say at the bottom (Double sided - Yes) If not you need to delete the driver, a fairly common problem, and reload the driver, get the driver from Sharps website to be sure you have the most current driver, if a driver is corrupt it won't tell you there is a problem, make sure it allows you to print two sided.

Duplex printing

The HP Laserjet 4+ does not have duplex capability built in; you'd need to purchase and attach the duplex unit (HP part number C3157A) to have that option.

Depending on your operating system, your driver may support a "manual duplex" mode in which you print one side, reload the paper, and then print the other side. You can also "fake" this from many applications (such as MS Office / OpenOffice) by telling it to print only even-numbered pages, then printing only odd-numbered pages.
