I have a LG Rumor and a Jabra bluetooth headset. How do I get them hooked up? I did the tools, add new device, I did it in the "on" mode I did it in the "pairing" mode. I don't know what to do. And its a problem because I the phone is so small that its hard to type and talk at the same time.

Re: adding my bluetooth to my phone
It needs to see the jabra..could be a timing issue...start phone (charged) start headset (charged) phone should announce it has found a device *would you like to connect?* message.....another thing..in tools you need to tell phone to look for bluetooth devices (on)

To pair your phone with another Bluetooth device, perform the following steps:
Press the Menu/OK key, select Settings/Tools, select Tools, select Bluetooth, select Add New, and then select Search. Your phone displays a list of discovered in-range Bluetooth devices.
Select a device, and press the Menu/OK key.
Enter the passkey, and press the Menu/OK key.
I have a Jabra VBT 2050 bluetooth headset. As per the product user manual(page 8) this device is compatible with any bluetooth mobile phones with bluetooth version 1.1 or higher.
My LG Shine CU720 mobile phone is not able to detect the VBT 2050 device. I checked the specification of mobile phone & its bluetooth 1.2. I am able to pair the VBT 2050 with other bluetooth mobile devices.
Could you help me resolve my problem. Appreciate quick help
Lol i've had this problem too trying to hookup my Jabra 2010 bluetooth headset. The answer is simple. Just turn on your bluetooth device and it should start automatic pairing. Than activate Bluetooth on your phone. Now Search. You will than see that your bluetooth has been found. The LG flare is really a weird phone because on most phones automatically detect the headset as in this case, you have to manually do it.
7. Pair it with your phone
Before you use your Jabra BT125, you need to pair it with your mobile
phone. (Follow step 1-4 in fig. 3).
1. Put the headset in pairing mode
• Make sure the headset is off .
• Press and hold the answer/end button until a solid blue light comes on.
2. Set your Bluetooth phone to ‘discover’ the Jabra BT125
Follow your phone’s instruction guide. This usually involves going to a
‘setup,’ ‘connect’ or ‘Bluetooth’ menu on your phone and selecting the
option to ‘discover’ or ‘add’ a Bluetooth device.* (See example from a
typical mobile phone in fig. 3).
3. Your phone will find the Jabra BT125
Your phone then asks if you want to pair with it. Accept by pressing ‘Yes’ or
‘OK’ on the phone and confirm with the passkey or PIN = 0000 (4 zeros).
Your phone will confirm when pairing is complete. In case of unsuccessful
pairing, repeat steps 1 to 3.
