a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

To my understanding the picture files must be:
1. arranged inside a folder (not in the root directory);
2. must end with a file name extension of ".jpg" or ".JPG" but not "JPEG"; and
3. File size must not exceed 5Mb.
In some instances, the speed or rate when the DVDs were burned could affect compatibility. Likewise DVD-R finalization, too few files inside the folder/disc.
Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information. It might be of further help if you can also post brand/model of the DVD burner and brand/specs of your blank DVD-Rs (1X-6X).
Good luck and kind regards.

You need to convert avi files to dvd format before burning, otherwise the player won't recognize them. Google "avi to dvd" and you'll find a number of free or pay programs that will do the conversion for you.
