SOURCE: Ink Cartridge won't reseat

When you put a new refill in an inkjet printer, the brain of the printer sends a small electric charge to the cartridge. Try going into the menu of the printer and check or click on the instalation of a "new" cartridge. It will send the charge to the ink and that may be the problem. If that dosen't do it, then see if you can reset the machine by disconnecting the power and any cables for a minute, and retry it then

SOURCE: Magenta print head reseat.

i'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it sounds like your carriage assembly is bad. the slot that holds the magenta cartridge is defective.have the carriage assembly and trailing cables replaced. this should resolve your problem. these parts are becoming harder to find because of the age of the printer. carriage assembly part number is C6074-69388. trailing cable is C6074-60418 making the assumption this is a 36" plotter. also you can try cleaning the contacts on the carriage assembly. good luck!

Supply memory error on screen

If you haven't yet, reseat the cartridges. The cartridges have a small chip on them that is read by the printer. If the chip is bad or missing, you'll get that error.Replace the toner cartridge that is causing the problem. If you just bought the cartridge return it, HP warranties them.

Keep getting error message 10.92.02

error 10.92.02 means that there something wrong with the magenta cartridge,
Make sure the cartridge is seated correctly. Reseat it.
There is a little circuit board on the cartridge that feeds info about the cartridge to the DC Controller. Compare the magenta with another cartridge to make sure that that circuit board is present. If it is missing, replace the cartridge.
Power cycle the printer.
If it still fails, you need to get a printer tech to look at it.

Did this cartridge ever work? or is it "new" out of the box?

I have a Xerox phaser 7300 that keeps telling me to install or reseat the black cartridge

It is slightly unusual for it to be the black toner cartridge (usually cyan or magenta) but this issue is quite common on the 7300. You can find a lot of information about this here.

New Magenta Ink is not recognized after installed

Hi, it sounds that the issue can be caused by a defective ink cartridge that installed or a printhead that can recognize magenta ink cartridge. To identify which causes this issue please try the following:

1. Reseat ink cartridge
2. Replace ink cartridge with a specified ink cartridge for your printer.
3. If above steps wont resolved that issue, please call your printer manufacture and ask for service referral or process warranty options.
