SOURCE: I have been using a Candy cdb126 for about three

Hi,
If the dryer tumbles but does not warm up, you either have one or two blown thermal fuses, a burned out element if it's electric, or a burned out igniter if it's gas.

If one of the two thermal fuses are blown you will not get heat. Thermal fuses blow (and are not resetable, they must be replaced) when the machine gets too hot. Often this is caused by not enough air flow through the machine. Check and make sure your exhaust vent is not clogged. Clean it the best you can to get all the lint, dead mice, bird nests, etc. out. Also make sure air is blowing out of the machine when it is turned on. If not you have a blower problem.

The thermal fuses are located on the element casing. They each have two wires coming out of them. They are about 3/4 inch round with screw ears on the sides so they are about 1 1/2 inch long and about an inch across. With a multimeter, check the continuity across the terminals. If there is no continuity the fuse needs to be replaced.

To check the element(s), you can either visually look and see if it is broken or check the continuity with a multimeter. No continuity means the element is broken. Replace if necessary.

To check for a broken igniter, take out the old one and look at it. If it looks broken or very burned, replace it.

Candy washer dryer not drying

there is a safety feature which advances the timer to a stop position if it overheats on dry. this is caused by poor air flow.
to cure, take the dryer duct off mand clean of lint. this especially accumulates at the bend where the duct enters the tub.

Drying cycle

Is the drying fan rotating(you should hear this)? Or the watertap closed. It uses cold water to make the steam into condense. If tap is closed, the machine has no water to cool the steam with. Check lint filter.

This machine has selfcondensing system. The condense water is beeing pumped out with the cooling water. The watertap MUST be open during drying. It also may be caused of overloading. The most W/D combos is just able to dry just the half of a full load in one time.

Clothes dryer

washer dryer and dryer ony machines differ in a huge way. the big diff. is the drums on each are completly different sizes. the conventional dryer has the bigger, giving better air flow and tumble to clothes. the w/d has a smaller drum thus less air flow and less tumble between clothes. the best way to see this effect is remove half the clothes after a wash and then select a drying cycle. u will see that by giving the clothes more room to tumble free of each other rather than tumbling in a large ball will dry them. washer dryers are really only a marketing tool.

Dryer - acquaviva 1300 - how it works?

the dryer has 2 thermostats if these are blown then the heater wont work but you can check to see if the element is burned out by unplugging your machine opening the top off it the wires that plug into the element replace with a plugged wire with bare wires on the end place each wire into the correct connector and turn the plug on this will either heat the element up or if it doesnt then the element is blown m8
