To avoid possible headaches from interference, I suggest you uninstall in Safe Mode:
Turn your PC on or Restart. As soon as you see the black and white screen, press and hold the F8 key. Continue holding until you see a black and white menu. Safe Mode is F3 or F5.

Uninstall IE7
1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel. 2. Click Add or Remove Programs. 3. Scroll down to Windows Internet Explorer 7, click it, and then click Change/Remove.
If for some reason Windows Internet Explorer 7 does not appear in the Add or Remove Programs you should:
1. Open Windows Explorer 2. Click Tools | Folder Options 3. Click the View tab 4. Make sure the radio button next to Show hidden files and folders is on  5. Click OK 6. Click Start, and then click Run 7. Type: %windir%\ie7\spuninst\spuninst.exe into the text box and click Enter
If you find yourself still needing help uninstalling Internet Explorer 7, check out the IE7 release notes found on the Microsoft MSDN Web site.

is a flash player problem.
Please followthese steps to upgrade to the most recent version of Adobe's Flash Player: 1. Beforeinstalling Adobe Flash, you will need to first uninstall any older versions youcurrently have running on your computer. To do so, download Adobe'sofficial uninstaller here. Make sure to select your correct operatingsystem, and then "Uninstall Flash." 2. Now thatyou've uninstalled the older version of Flash, follow Adobe's instructions for reinstalling the most recentversion. You can download Flash Player on this page: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ 3. Once you'vedownloaded the file, please exit your browser first, and then install theupgraded version of Flash to you're computer. 4. Finally, open your browser again and go to YouTube. You should now be able sosuccessfully watch videos! If theinstructions above don't resolve the issue, please also try the following: 1. Temporarilydisable popup blocking software installed on your computer to test. 2. AllowYouTube.com as a trusted site in your Firewall software. 3. Ensureother applications like Quicktime, iTunes, Real Player, or Windows Media Playeraren't set as the default streaming application, as this might affect the videoplayer. 4. Make sureyour computer is set up properly for Flash by checking out Adobe'sAdvanced Troubleshooter here. If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solvesthe issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response.

SCSI/RAID Host Controller/Driver cannot be found

Windows cannot find the correct drivers for this device. So, let's research a little bit.

Are you using SATA or RAID on the computer? If not, there is nothing that needs fixing.

If you are, then reinstall the RAID software from your motherboard installation disk, which should repair this issue.

If you do not have the driver installation disk from your motherboard, for whatever reason, go to their website. Almost every motherboard manufacturer provides easy access to drivers.

good luck

When trying to open adobe reader 8.1.1 get following message: patch package could not be opened. verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify...

it sounds like the application that is needed to uninstall the version 8 is corrupted or missing. Try reinstalling version 8 first then uninstall it before loading version 9. If you can reinstall version 8 and it asks you if you want to repair or install, choose install to get all of the files back before uninstalling it again. Always uninstall from add/remove programs. If deleting it from program files instead of uninstalling it correctly it will cause problems.
