SOURCE: ''Clean'' light is blinking, ''Cancel'' does not reset the cycle.

If the clean light flashes 7 times, pauses, then repeats...

When the dishwasher doesn't sense a water temperature increase, it stops working and locks the functions (clean light flashes 7 times, all buttons are non responsive). It does this as a safety in case the element is broken and feeding electrical current into the water.

To resolve this you will have to reset the console. Do this by closing the door and press these buttons in sequence...

-high temp wash
-heated dry
-high temp wash
-heated dry

...all the lights will turn on briefly and the machine will start a diagnostic cycle. You can press cancel or let the diagnostic cyle finish (1-2 minutes).
You should now be able to run the dishwasher as normal.

If the issue returns, you could have a problem with the heating circuit (ie. element, thermostat or wiring).
It rarely happens but it could also be the door switch not engaging properly when the door is closed (slightly bend the door latch down making sure it doesn't hit the door when you close it).

Good luck!

SOURCE: Bosch Dishwasher with very little water pressure or power

It all stems back to your incomming water supply. Either the sieve is dirt or the valve is blocked with sedementation. Some valves are servicable and some are not,if your valve has screws then its revicable. (low water pressure restricts movement on arms.)

SOURCE: Optima G2430 Miele dishwasher with intake/drain flashing light

Hi,
F13 is an inlet fault.
First the unit drains and then fills with water. When the unit has intially drained open the door and manually fill the unit with water, about 5lts. This will then allow the dishwasher to go to the next step which is to circulate the water. If this works ok then the water tap is defective, water inlet valve is defective or the electronic unit is not sending the signal to activate the valve. The water inlet valve is the white square box attached to the tap. Remove this and check the filter and make sure water comes out of the tap.If ok then remove the bottom panel of the unit under the door. On the right hand side there is a 2 core cable with a male and female connector. Unplug this and check for voltage from the electronic when the unit goes to fill with water. If there is 240v then the electronic is ok. You will then need a new waterproof system from Miele.

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors or feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/PUMP MOTOR/DRAIN to work when it is commanded .If this does not happen then the voltage at these points must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage/drive from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

Check how to remove the control panel: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/dishwashers/a/3/1287/how-to-replace-a-hotpoint-dishwasher-fascia-p.html

If the program responds then check if the program cycle moves on so as to confirm the final working of the machine. If the water flows then the flow should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor. The water pressure must be good and the spraying must be seen to be good. If there is low pumping or pressure then the spray arms will not turn around to inject with pressure. If so the pump must be checked for clogging.

To replace check this link:

http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/dishwashers/a/3/1293/how-to-replace-the-spraying-system-on-a-dishw.html

Finally after the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to come in to rinse and then finally the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain off all the water.

Make sure that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the valve or motor or pump.

Hi, if your unit is getting good water pressure then the problem is going to be your flow meter which is the device that measures how much water is coming into the unit. If it doesn't detect enough water coming into the unit, the dishwasher will hault and give you check water light error. When the error comes up look at the water in the bottom and see if you have enough water in the bottom for a cycle. If not then your flow meter is fine and your unit truely isn't getting enough water which means that either your house isn't giving good water pressure to the dishwasher, or the electronic water valve that connects to the water line from your house is bad and needs to be replaced....

Dishwasher stops after a couple of minutes and F4 shows on the display

the F4 problem in the Dishwasher is common, and the solution is often to replace the Water Indicator unit. This is because the light-action microswitch attached to the unit often loses its spring.

Replacement is HERE if required.

Also, dismantle the sensor unit to get all the "gunk" out. There can be a carpet of white goo covering the rubber diaphragm, get the thing out of the machine though the front bottom inspection cover.

Ok, so I had the exact same problem with the exact same model. NOT 7 blinks and to buttons that you do not have.
I will tell you what I did as I do not know what (if any) of what I did fixed it (it could be luck but I do not think so).

1. I pulled the washer out of place. You should see a small thing connected on the inlet pipe that is supposed to stop flooding. I gave that a few taps. (I am quite sure that this is not the fix but who knows).
2. I pressed the start (rest) button until the washer started to reset (whet to the END mode). I DID NOT wate for it to end. While it was pumping I turen the washer off using the power button. Then I turned it on again. I went on pumping. Then when it stopped pumping I turned it off again, waited toe 2 seconds and turned it on. Much to to mu surprise when I turned it on it was working normal.

I hope it goes on doing this as this in only the second problem we have ad with it in 13 years.

Hope this hels

Hi, on my WAE8987 Washing machine, the fault code 'F07' keeps coming up, can anyone help please? thanks

Bauknecht are built by Whirlpool.
F7 on Whirlpool means flow meter failure.
Check water inlet, check the pressure switch, and check the sump filter at the bottom of the dishwasher.
To reset try turning on the power and holding the start button and the + and - buttons at the same time.

Hi my Bauknecht GSI 5411 dishwasher seems to starting ok but then it stops after a couple of minutes. have checked the water supply tap as well as the filter and they seem to be ok. Please help

Set the machine to the end of the drying cycle, when it has finished, try pouring boiling water into the machine about a kettle full there is a sump level control beneath the removable filter (where all the **** gathers) if this has fat deposits on it this type of problem can occur.

Bauknecht GF7199 F7 light has come on

F7 error indicates a fault with the water flow meter .

Check the sump filter at the bottom of the dishwasher, then close the door and turn on the power. then hold the start button with the + and - buttons under the LCD display, until the drain pump starts. This should then reset the dishwasher.

Hope this helps .

What does F7 Means?

The F7 means that the drain filter is blocked or your water pressure is low. Check and clean filters. Good luck !
