Question about Hitachi 60V500 60" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
I just had that problem. Save a lot of money & change your lamp. It is behind a 6 by 6 plate on back of your tv , held in by 2 screws, cost about 300 dollars, they say these last about 2 years. Changing it yourself will save you paying someone to come out & also a diagnostic fee, about 200 dollars.

You might have blown a fuse inside the T.V., I blew a fuse on plasma screen or I also blew some other things, costed me about $200 to fix! Also, take it into a tv place to get a diagnostic check! Sorry about spelling, Im in a rush!
