Question about Philips 9P6040C 60" Rear Projection Television
I turned on the TV and within 15 seconds the screen turned black. There was no sound or picture.I checked the power cord and also verified the other tv's in the house had the cable working properly. What went wrong?
I had the same issue. The screen would shrink and then expand over and over. After thrity minutes it would correct itself.
After a few months of doing this it just broke - no sound and no videe but the power light was still on.
I searched these forums but did not find clear instructions or kits on how to fix it. I gave up and called in a repair tech. He fixed my TV in less than 30 minutes.
To help others I documented the fix and created a repair kit and step by step quide on how to fix the problem. You can find it here. http://www.magnavoxhelp.com
