Question about Dell Vostro 1510 Laptop
MY SPEAKERS HAVE SUDDENLY STOPED WORKING YET MY EAR PHONE OUTPUT IS FINE IV CHECKED EVERY POSSIBLE AUDIO VOLUME THERE IS IN THIS LABTOP STILL NO JOY
If there is audio output from earphone sockets, the audio processign secion inside it is OK, and the fault must be either to its speakers or audio output section. A very skilled and expereienced technician can make it right. It will be best ot get this laptop repaird by its authorised service center for Dell at your town. Motherboard need to be troubleshooted.

If it truly is the HDD password, Dell will be of no help to you, as they have no control over the HDD Password; the password is stored in a hidden sector on the HDD itself.
The only people that could help you with that is the manufacturer of the HDD, and odds are they won't help you. It would involve sending the drive back to the manufacturer, and paying them a heft fee to unlock it. It would be returned to you, but would be blank, as they have no way of knowing that the data on it truly belongs to you.
Today happens to be your lucky day however, as I stumbled upon what seems to be a very useful piece of software. There are many restrictions with it's use, so make sure you can manage this. It would involve you connecting your laptop drive into a desktop system in order to perform the task of unlocking, only works with certain drives, and has been known to not work on some Dell HDDs, amongst many other things. Link is below..
There is a reason people put passwords on the HDD, and that is for total security... Good Luck my man, good luck!

Make sure you have the correct drivers installed for your OS and make sure that both wireless and bluetooth are enabled in the system setup. To do this, boot into the system setup by rebooting your computer and tapping on F2. On the left pane, look for Wireless (navigate using the arrow keys) then hit Enter, then navigate to bluetooth, make sure the setting is set to ENABLED (complete instructions for navigations and options selections should be illustrated on the lower portion of the setup screen). Once ENABLED, reboot into your OS and go into to control Panel open the bluetooth icon, make sure your external Bluetooth device (phone/smartphone, etc.) is set to discovery. Search for the device to see if it is detected.
The Bluetooth Icon will appear in the systray (lower right corner of your desktop task bar. Right click on that icon and then select the option you need. Make sure you enter the same device code in both the laptop and the device you want the computer to connect to. Hope this helps FixYa! Leave some feedback and a testimonial if you find these instructions helpful.
