Set timer for coffee in am
SOURCE: I have a hamilton beach brew station, and the
There is a Thermal Protector Fuse at one end of the brewing element
that overheats and is designed to fail(Either at 128C, 140C, or 228C).
It is likely that one of these is the culprit.
Some coffee makers have 2 different ones. The part costs about $1.70 at
a local electronics supply or online. Taking apart the coffee maker is
a chore, but can be done if patient. The fuse must be soldered back in
place carefully. Getting it too hot will ruin the new one. If you have no technical background, I wouldn't suggest trying to fix it yourself.
Alternatively:
If
the coffee maker is less than 2 years old, you can call Hamilton Beach
and they will give you instructions on how to RMA your coffee maker. You
need to give them the code # on the bottom of the unit. They will
request that you cut off just the plug and send it to them with a check
for return shipping costs.
SOURCE: hamilton beach brew station spring problem
The spring goes at the top of the stem, under the filter basket. This keeps tension on the basket, so it will pop up when you remove the cover.
SOURCE: brews finw but won't keep coffee hot
Could be the thermostat sensor, or the warm mode heating element, or the section of the control module for the warm mode. The details are model dependent.
If the coffee maker is out of warranty, it may not be worth servicing.
