I need a driver for my Samsung Z500 cellphone that I use to connect to the internet. Is there a driver that I can download somewhere, because all of my searches gave me drivers for my cellphone, but not to be used with Windows Vista. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me.

Tethering your cellphone to your PC is first dependent on whether your cellphone is GPRS enabled and that you have a a data plan (preferably unlimited internet) with the service provider. The next step would be to check the service providers website, which can provide an application and instructions on how to tether the phone with a USB cord or Bluetooth. You can usually find it by searching "tethering" on the companies support page.
If your company does not provide support for tethering, but does not restrict it (make sure to read your service agreement) you may still be able to do it. From the phone options/settings menu select "internet Access" choose the PC connection field and select USB. This may vary depending on your particular cellphone model, but the process should be similar.
Connect the cellphone to your PC. You may need to install the modem driver, which may have been provided with a CD included with the cellphone purchase or your OS may prompt to search for the needed driver. If you're using windows you will want to open the Network Connection wizard found in the Control Panel and create a dial-up connection. You can go to http://www.taniwha.org.uk/gprs.html and enter the listed user name in the account name and the listed password in the password field. The phone number will usually be #777, but if that doesn't work you may be able to find the number via googling something like "access number for [phone service]".
You may want to download Samsung PC Studio. It should contain all the drivers you require for your samsung mobile phone. It should come with the mobile phone as a CD or you can download it online here at http://www.brothersoft.com/samsung-pc-studio-78015.html
Firstly download this file and do not run yet
Then download this file and do not run yet
save them to a new folder on your desktop, or to a place you normally download files to (do not open or run them)
right click each exe icon select properties and select compatibility tab
select "Run this program in compatibility for" WINDOWS Vista (service pack 2)
also enter a tick in the check box for run as administrator
do this for both .EXE icons
run the usb driver file first

the USB files may fail to function at this stage, but its fine ....once you have installed pcstudio..and if you have errors on the USB files run them again....and they will work fine
