SOURCE: chrome won't connect to game

try and clear your browsing history. go to the wrench, and then to options. click on 'under the hood' on the left side and find the button that says clear browsing data. if that doesn't work you can download CCleaner (google it) once downloaded you can analyze and see how much room will be cleared or you can skip the analyzing and just hit run cleaner. that should do it. if it doesn't please post whatever message you're getting. thanks!

Are you running ie8 ?

Internet Explorer 8 suffers a glitch involving high-contrast themes for the Windows desktop and other "theme-skinning" software. Themes change the way components of the Windows operating system appears. When Internet Explorer 8 is installed for the first time, certain themes such as "Classic" can trigger a defect in the browser which makes the toolbar and window frame appear to be solid black. The glitch is only temporary and is removable by switching themes.

Press "WIN" and "R" at the same time. Type "services.msc" into the "Run" Dialog box and Press "Enter". Scroll down the list of services until you see "Themes" service. Stop it by right-clicking it and selecting "Stop". This forces the visual effects for Windows to be disabled temporarily. Close any Internet Explorer windows that may be open. In the "Services" list, right-click "Themes" and select start. This will reset and re-enable visual effects for the Windows operating system. Right-click the desktop and select "Properties". In the "Properties" dialog box, click the "Themes" tab if it is not selected. On the drop down list, change the theme to an alternative item on the list. Click "Apply". Once the theme has changed, click the drop down list again and change it back to the original theme. Click "OK" to any open dialog boxes. Open up Internet Explorer to test the browser. If the toolbar appears normal, the issue has been resolved. If they still appear black, reboot the computer and test Internet Explorer again.

Can not connect with google chrome, no internet

You don't say which operating system you're using.

Something or someone has changed your browser settings.

Start > Run > type "iexplore.exe" > press Enter.

If the internet works, uninstall Google Chrome and all its components in Add or Remove programs, restart the computer and download and install google chrome again.Start > Control panel > Add or remove programs > google chrome + google chrome updater > remove > remove all >

If you still have problems download malwarebytes from , scan, clean spyware from your system, restart pc and try again.

Hope this helps.

Google chrome wont open

1. Restart your computer, try again. 2. If you still can't open it, then you have a problem either with your chrome browser or your computer. 3. If you have another web browser on your computer, install google chrome again. That might fix your issue. 4. See if you can open any other web browser, if you can't then you have a bigger issue with your computer. If you can, then you know the problem is located with google chorme.

2) Select "Tools"
3) Select 'Clear browsing data'
4) Ensure that check boxes for 'Clear browsing history' and 'Empty the cache' are selected

Cant open google crome proxy server cant locate

I'm having the same problem. I thought it was just me, but when I saw your question, I decided to do some research. I can't try these solutions now since I use Chrome at home, and now I'm at work. But here are some solutions that have worked for others (each of the following is a different possible solution--this is not one big solution):

Click the Tools menu.
Click the Under the Hood tab and find the "Privacy" section.
In the "Cookie settings" section, click Show cookies.
Click Remove all.
Click Close.

Click the Tools menu.
Select Options.
Click the Under the Hood tab.
Click Change proxy settings. This opens the Internet Properties dialog.
Click LAN Settings.
Make sure that the "Automatically detect settings" checkbox is selected.
Click OK for all dialog boxes.

Open IE (version doesn't matter), Tools->Internet Options.
Go to the Connection tab.
Click "LAN settings."
UN-check "Use a proxy server"
Check the box "Automatically detect settings," then ok twice, and restart Chrome.

Open a command prompt. (Start>Run>Type "cmd" and press OK)
Type the following:
"netsh winsock reset catalog" (without quotes)
Press enter and then restart the computer.

1. Right Click on Google Chrome SHORTCUT Icon that you wish to use.
2. Add the text, " --in-process-plugins" without the quotes, after the "chrome.exe" in Target field. It should look like, "...\chrome.exe --in-process-plugins" when you are done.
3. Save the changes, and restart Chrome if it is open.

Nobody has any idea why this works, but it did work for some people.

That would definitely cause a problem.

Every antivirus scanner is different, but they should all have a setting to exclude certain files. Exclude "chrome.exe".

try this.

Chrome Not Opening at all!! Clicked on "OPEN" not opening Trying Trying But It's not!!!@___@ >___<

There may be a chrome process already open. Try pressing Ctrl + alt + del (assuming you are on windows) and check in the process list if there is already a chrome present. If there is, close it by right clicking on the process, and clicking "close process". If not, try restarting your computer. If that still doesn't work, your best bet is to uninstall chrome, and reinstall the latest version, if possible.
