Printer installation Don't see a place to plug in a cable for my HP 970cse printer

The HP 970cse is a USB printer. The ET135201 has 6 USB ports

Ports
  • 6 - USB 2.0 (2 front, 4 rear)

  • Connect your printer to either the front or rear ports. Note: a USB cable is not included with the printer and must be purchased separately.

    Thanks, Jim

What do I need to do to run my HP 970 from a usb port?

I use an adapter here in the shop, paralllel to usb running Vista. Seems to work well, not all adapters are the same so be sure and read the applications before buying.

Pages do not kick out after printing on my HP DeskJet 970

It looks like a driver or software problem. I would check whether there is a newer driver (last time I looked the newest was 2002!!!) and whether a new installation helps (watch out sometime one must install before the printer is hooked to the PC and sometimes it is the reverse check the manual).
I would also check whether it occurs with all software...
A couple of info would be helpful: which OS are you using? is the printer running over USB or parallel. Is the printer attached to a printer server?
