Question about Computers & Internet
ALL OF A SUDDEN IT STARTS TO WERRR, THEN STOP FOR A WHILE, THEN START AGAIN
Dear Reynold Bonaldi,
This is a common question that I get asked numerous amounts of times, and yet again the answer is clear.
In order to save on power consumption, and as a part of the design, most computers nowadays have a fan inside of them that mainly will only power up an start spinning when either operating system notices that the processing strain increases, or when the bios/ cmos chip notices more clock cycles per second. Both of these WILL drive up CPU core temperature, and this is what will kick start the fan into spinning.
whurring noise in itself is probably the fan only rotating is nothing more of a nuisance. However, it is recommended that you have your laptop physically internally inspected and cleaned, particles from dust, travel, food and other products can be sucked into the air intake, and build up inside the system over time, which eventually will act as an insulator and may even stop the fans from working. You will also notice performance decrease.
I hope this solves your query, and I look forward to any reply you may have
