Dear Shahzad,

you will need to check the support section on your manufacturers website, and also see what the forums say under the FAQ and PAQ section, either on their site or elsewhere.

If you need me to get the manual link for you then I can do this if you message me.

Yours sincerely

Ouszen

Handset is not ringing. Checked to make sure ringer and volume is on. What else could be the problem.

I assumed you are talking about your wireless phone.
Are you worried about handset ringing or the incoming call ring?
1. If you want to check your handset ringing, you check it by calling from your base to your handset via INTERCOM. If it rings, then your hanset ringing is working. The trunk or the Tel Company dial tone is the one not going in to your phone.
Hope this helps. Best regards.

My new Hp Officejet j3680 caller ID is not working... All the phones in the house display the incoming phone numbers except the j3680. I wonder why?!! it shows instead ringing!!!

The caller ID phone having the tip & ring detection circuit to detect the incoming phone number, but in this model doesn't have tip & ring detection circuit to display other phone number but after connecting the other fax it will read the information which was stored like company name & phone number of other one..

There are many features which can cause the phone not to ring when incoming calls are on the line. There is a do not disturb key and a mute button on the phone itself. Check to make sure they have not been set. There is an incoming call feature that sometimes needs to be programmed on the phone before it will ring for incoming calls. There is also an automatic answer function that can interfere with ringing too. Instead of listing all of the possibilities, I am including a "cheat sheet" with all of the features & programming for your phone below. Click on the link and scroll through the options to troubleshoot this issue.

If you have any questions please use the comment or reply link near your question on Fixya's website to contact me and I will continue assisting you until this issue is solved.

How do i change the ringtone callers hear when they contact my htc wildfire

Thanks for visiting FixYa!

In most cases, the ring tone callers hear (incoming ring tone) is controlled by your cellular service provider.

Try this first: (On the Internet) Sign-in to your cellular account. On your account page, look for a link that directs you to your incoming ring tones (or similar). There, you can change your incoming ring tone.

If you're unable to do that, contact your cellular provider's Customer Support. They can assist you in changing your incoming ring tone.

How do i set up fax to automaticely receive faxes after several rings

For a phone line dedicated only to the fax machine, the process is as follows:
  1. Press Menu/Set, 0, 1.
  2. You will see the Fax Receive window
  3. Use UP and DOWN arrows to change the setting to FAX ONLY
  4. Press Menu/Set.
  5. Press STOP/EXIT
Your fax machine will now answer every incoming call.
If the fax machine is sharing the phone line with a telephone, repeat the above steps and change from FAX ONLY to FAX/TEL This option will allow you to share the line with a phone only, not an answering machine. Once in FAX/TEL mode, the fax machine will still grab every incoming FAX call, and give a special ring (slightly different than a regular telephone ring) when it's a regular incoming phone call signaling you to answer the phone. I hope this helps with your problem. Best of luck!

Hi
You can set it for manual mode.
Or set it for fax only but set the incomming ring count to more than 8 times that will give you time to answer a call before it go to fax.
