5 amp fuse keeps blowing

Hi Jeff,
The fuse is to protect the blower, you and other equipment. It is a warning that something is not working correctly.
If you have a multimeter, use it to see if you have a short circuit or a partial short circuit by using the ohm measurement.
Physically check the wires and and wire connections in the unit to see if there is any sign of shorting out - usually looks like a black smudge.
Do not replace the fuse with a higher rating fuse.
If you can find some short circuit, thoroughly clean the area, or replace the faulty wire, or both.
If you cannot find a fault easily, you may have to get the unit seviced.

2007 Nissan Altima air conditioner & heater takes a long time to come on

Your Air Conditioner might be low on refrigerant. If the AC doesn't cool down and had signs where it took a while to start cooling, you likely have a slow leak. It could be that an O ring wore out and started leaking, or a hose developed a leak. Rubber components tend to be the first parts that wear out over a period of time. A shop can confirm if your 134A refrigerant leaked out of the system.

1) Bad gas control thermostat, or thermostat has come out of calibration, or water leak running hot water out of tank.
Turn up temperature.

What should I do about a small leak on the side of my water heater?

What is the warranty on this tank?
Warranties covered failed tank.

Does the tank wall have a leak?
If the tank is leaking on top around inlet pipes, or leak is coming out of weld around TP valve, then water heater must be replaced.
Copy following link for troubleshooting and method for prolonging life of water heater by turning off heater except to make batches of hot water.

You can buy water heater at local box store. $350 for gas and $230 for electric, then get store coupon or offer 10% less than sticker price.
Electric water heater is simple to replace.

MY 1991 JEEP WRANGLER CARS HEATER DOESNT WORK

If the blower works check for coolant in the cooling system. Test operation of thermostat. Check heater control valve for proper operation if equipped. Pressure test cooling system to ensure system holds pressure (this will help you identify a leak, if any. If car does not over heat and cooling system is in good working order, then the heater core is clogged.
If the blower does not work Check fuse, relay, wiring for short to ground, apply direct battery voltage to blower motor. If blower motor turns on and fuse/relay and wiring are ok replace the switch.

My 1997 Grand Am is leaking antifreeze. It overheats and smells like burning antifreeze. We had a new water pump put on it and a new heater core put on it 4 days ago. Neither of those solved the problem....

it maybe a hose not installed correctly, if it is a v-6 check the intake gaskets for signs of leaking, when you over heat the engine, automatically replace the thermostat, the cooling fans may have a hand in the overheating issue, they may not be turning on due fan motor failure, check cooling fan fuses, very rarely does the coolant temp sensor give out and if it has, that would also be the reason the cooling fans are not coming on, a cracked radiator is also common on gm or any other radiator with plastic tanks. good luck

make sure thermostat switch working properly, the thermostate sensor sense the temperature and kick on the cooling fans on and off, also make sure both fans are working properly. assuming every thing is working properly, check the dip stick to make sure there is no water mix in the oil, another sign of leaking head gasket will also will cause the engine run a bit hotter than normal.

Check to see if the gas is on.
Check to see if the pilot is on.
You could have thermocoupler problems if the pilot dosn't stay on, or the safety thermostat within the body of the heater may have tripped.
