Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
I have one Tally Genicom 6615Q connected at AS/400 through TCP/IP, my tally is printing with IBMproprinter emulation and is working fine, the problem is that is not responding to hold job commands from the AS/400, i don't know what is causing that, the users send one order of cancel printing and the printer don't stop, did you know what is causing that problem? Thanks
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

The ribbon I had installed (code 061627) which says it is the correct one is in fact not. the drive pin on the printer slips while feeding the ribbon.
I have fitted a (code 062471) and now it is printing fine again.
a google search reports both these codes as compatible but they are quite clearly, not.
