Stephen, I wouldn't recommend buying it because there really, really are not parts available. That said, I already own one of these and am desperate for a motor and impellor. If they are selling the machine for a good price, I would be interested in it for the parts value. I'm already stuck with the one I have, so I may as well be in it for the long haul. Please contact me at michelescandy@hotmail.com in Sydney, Aus. Thanks.

Hobart discontinued this machine prior to 1970. I know for a fact that there are no parts available. I would recommennd an new AM14 or a AM15 model

Good morning, I have 01 Hobart dishwasher AM14, i need to be replace rinse sensor probe and temperature sensor for booster heater. But I can't to find Hobart part number Please help me.Thank you.

294692 for the rinse probe.
"temperature sensor for booster heater"? Do you mean the thermostat? If so, part number is 274161.

Parts breakdowns and part numbers are available at www.hobartservice.com. Click "Parts" on the left, then click "Hobart SmartParts System" on the next page. You'll be asked a series of questions to identify your piece of equipment, and then you'll get a parts list and have links to parts breakdowns for various sections of the machine.

I have a hobart A200 with no safty gard is it possible bay just the gard and attache it to the mixer and where can i buy it?thank you

It has to be installed as a kit by a Hobart Technician. I do not believe they will sell the kit to the general public. After it is installed you can buy parts as needed.

Need motor & impellor for Hobart AM8

I havn't seen an AM8 in over 15 years.
Hobart will keep parts available for quite a few years past end of production, but this may be too long. The AM 10 and early 12's are compatable.
You need a 6 bolt pump to motor. Yours has the old cast iron wash arms. All the new have light stainless arms. Just checked my records. the new AM12 which superceeded your design was in 1981. Perhaps look around for a used AM14 which fits your tables and plumbing. Confirm the voltage is compatable.
The AM15 is the current spec and is far superior.

I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the direction your seller is leading you. I assume this machine is installed in some type of place where you are serving food to the public. If this is the case, then the local health inspector will expect to see a wash tank temp of 150F-165F and a rinse temp of 180F-195F.
With a wash temp of 170F, you risk a health violation for over-temps and this can also cause so food soils to get "baked" onto the wares. With a rinse temp of 170F the health violation is under-temp and you likely will not have good sheeting/drying action on the glasses, leading to a spotting issue.
Hobart sells this machine with an "optional" kit for external chemical dispensing, but if you have the base-model (which it sounds like you do) it does not come with any type of ports for chemical injection. If you are truley concerned about consistent, pleasing results, ie clean dishes, no spots, etc. Then it would be my advice to have Hobart install this kit, and then contact a local chemical supplier for proper chemistry (a detergent and a rinse additive) and balancing of the machine. Most chemical companies do not charge for installing their needed dispensers onto your machine, and do not charge for service calls. They only charge for the chemicals you use. I have a personal preference towards Ecolab, but that's just me...
If I am way off on this, meaning you're not serving to the public (just your family) and a health inspector would never see this machine, then just get some cascade and call it good...
I hope this helps and please let me know if I can be of any further assistance,
Kermit
