'97 Bonneville Unlock Stereo Code -further help needed

Many Thanks for your instructions in how to find the Unlock Stereo code for my '97 Bonneville. I did get a 6 digit code.(022026)
I don't know how to enter the code because it has zeroes in it and I don't know how to enter zeroes . I tried several different keys , I didn't want to try too many as I read somewhere too many mistakes results in a permanent lock.
or is the code I need to enter 2226 ?
Many Thanks

Press the HR button and set the first 2 or 3 numbers.

3 Press AM/FM button, SEC "-----"should be displayed.

4 You can now turn the radio on

How do i unlock my car stereo for a pontiac bonniville 2001

if a code was not reset from factory, I think the owner's manual tells you what the factory setting is. If someone reset the code and didn't right it down, you're SOL on it. Need to take it to a dealership to help you out then.

What is the car stereo unlock code for a 96 toyota camry.

Hiya,

There is no one code that will unlock the radio. That would sort of defeat the purpose of having an anti theft code because once they had the code they could steal any toyota stereo and use it.

You will need the VIN number of the vehicle and contact the Toyota dealer in your area who will help you get the correct code for your car. they should also instruct you on how to enter the code successfully.

Factory stereo

You can call up the dealer and see how much it's going to cost there for the codes, but try 0000 first. If that does not work. try www.radio-code.com they can get your radio working again. Good luck and keep me posted

If you have the Delta stereo (with the power/volume knob in the middle), you need to hold the "DX" and "FM1/2" buttons simultaneously. Hold them down for a few seconds, and SAFE will be replaced with numbers. Use the radio preset keys (1-4 I believe) to enter each number. When the code is successfully input, hold down the DX and FM1/2 buttons again, and the stereo will start to work.

If you mess up entering the code, you can try again. If you mess up a second time, you have to leave the stereo off and the key turned on in the ignition for an hour to allow you two more tries.
