Just hook the camera up with the supplied cable to any xp, vista, or 7 computer and the drivers should already be on the computer to transfer photos over to the hard disk drive of the laptop or desktop in question.

Loaded cd on vista and nothing happens when i hook up the usb from the camera to the computer

Have you considered NOT connecting your camera to your computer?

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive.

I have Canon 2S IS camera , changed OS to Vista

It would be easier to get a card reader for about $10 or $15 at an electronics store. They hook right up and thee is less chance of damaging your cameras USB port.

I am unable to copy .MOV file even after

Try hooking the camera or memory card reader up to the computer via a USB cable and go into "My Computer" (or "Computer" in Vista) and look for your camera listed under the removable hard drives and double click it. You'll see a folder and within it, you should see all of your files. Simply copy and paste them to your perferred folder on your hard drive. Some cameras have seperate video folders, but should be in the same, general area.

Need drivers for Windows Vista

Have you tried just hooking up the camera via the USB? Vista already has most drivers installed. Make sure you run Windows Update first. Also you can try the Sony website itself.

I now have Vista

Go to the Logitech website and see if they have one you can download it from there support site just look for your model once you get there if not think of buying a newer camera I got a 510 also and mine runs fine on XP. But load the drivers before hook up your camera hook it all up but leave the cable out of the camera cable port till the software tells you to install it.
