Question about LG Refrigerators
The fridge is working however for some reason the fridge seems to be freezing and is also freezing the products placed at certain levels in the fridge. The top compartment freezes the middle and meat draw are normal and then the lower shelf and two bottom draws are freezing. The same problem is also occuring in the door compartments. Is there any reason for this?? Help would be much obligued, Thank you
Check your evaporator fan motor also make sure there is no obstructions such as plastic bags blocking air flow.

maybe you fridge is tilting to far forward some times a fridge needs to lean back slightly only by 5 degs so adjust the foot t the front. this will mke the water flow towards the back and also help keep the doors sealed better

Sounds like a defrost problem. Check to see if
there is any frost buildup in the back wall of the freezer. If so, it is not
defrosting as it should.

SOURCE: FRIDGE COMPARTMENT FREEZING
try this, make sure you dont have anything blocking your blower in the freezer.if that is okay if you have seperate controls for the freezer and the fridge, try setting the frige setting lower and the freezer higher, this makes the blower work more in the freezer.hope it helps.

SOURCE: GE Profile PSS25MGMB is too cold
After viewing the pictures of this part on this web-site - I took this part out of my refridge to see if the door was stuck closed or stuck open ( closed = fridge too warm and stuck open is too cold - my problem). The door within this part was broken off the hinge. I took this part apart - styrofoam and tape - and glued the door back together and in place with 2 part epoxy. I reassembled and everything seems OK now.
If this begins to happen again - I will probably just order a new part.
I think it is outrageous that a $700 fridge's performance is regulated by a cheap 50 cent piece of plastic. Spend another dime and make this piece glavanized aluminum? or other material that does not dry rot and holds up in cold dry environments.

Turn your thermostat down. If all the rest of the food was even 45 degrees, it would be okay. The vetable and meat drawers will always be colder, so you set the level for the rest of the fridge at what is tolerable.
