Hello
Check its power supply board for any damaged capacitors. Replace them if found or suspected. Take special care to main filter capacitors. check all the output voltage smoothing capaciotrs too.
If all are OK, and still the problem perists, replace the power supply board as card basis.

SOURCE: Vertical portion pixelats then forms

Note
In some cases, there are minor defects in some parts of the screen. Points that do not light, points with
brightness different from that of the periphery, or points with color different from that of the periphery.
Some pixels will always be on or always off. Please note that this is not a malfunction. So what this says is that it's not the Plasma Cell problem, its more like a bad board inside. You will need more info like schematic and find out which area the bad part is in.

SOURCE: I have several blue vertical lines appearing on my

The problem is that there is a bad connection/bad soldering in one/several connectors where the flatcables to the displayunit is connected to the rest of the electronics.

A tip is to mark exactly where the lines appear (with paper scotchtape) on the side of the unit, so you can se which connector/-s that you should resolder once you have dismantled the TV.

Somehow when switching between the tv and the dvd my wife encountered the pink and green, thin, parallel, vertical lines on the screen. The picture was visible with the lines. I turned the tv off and on but the problem persisted. Unplugged tv for about two minutes and after plugging it back in and turning it on the vertical lines very gone and the picture was back to normal.

Toshiba 46In HD Rear projection TV Vertical lines on screen

We also have vertical lines with our JVC 62"... turning it off and letting it cool down is the only solution. For us, we know it's a problem with heat. We simply are wits end on fixing it. added two additional fans, a exterior fan to blow heat away from the back of the tv, pulled everything else away, etc.... Anyway, goodluck.
