Question about Sennheiser Electronic MM 400 Wireless Headphones

1 Answer

The sound is only coming out of one side.

I turned my headphones on today and the sound was only coming out of one of the speakers. Using the wire instead of the bluetooth does not help. If I twist the speakers I can get both to work for a second at a time. Is there a home fix for this or do I need to buy new ones?

One speaker of the headphone is weak... there is no solution to fix it, you have to buy a new one... it's a really common problem ..

Why are my headphones making a vibrating sound on the left side, when there is a lot of bass.

Each speaker works independently from each other. One speaker may use more low frequency tones than the other one.. Low frequency tones create a lot more noticeable vibration than higher frequency tones. You can reduce it by turning the volume down a little on the left speaker. It is possible that nuts came loose on the speaker.

Green light keeps blinking after charging it and i turn the powere on also teh sound comes and goes from one side of the headset

Blinking green light is an indication the headset is trying to establist communications with the receiver (dongle). Sound issues are normally on the side where the microphone is, this is most commonly a broken wire. The speaker wires are very small diameter. This can be fixed by a competent soldering job with new wirest from PC board to speaker inside the headset.

Sounf come thru the right side but is silent in the left headphone

Hi,why sounds comes out from one side and the other side silentis because, the wire inside the speaker has cut and it needs to be soldered back with a soldering iron and a lead.

Sometimes it might also be from the speaker itself if it is damaged.

When you solder back the place that has cut, problem solved.

Thanks for using fixya....

Sound coming in only one side

Hi,
these is problem often occurs in headphone,
i am sure that your speaker are not a problem
reason for the problem:
wire gets defected internally make a open circiut(no power will reach your speaker) in your case it happened on one side
solution:
buy a cable similar to your headphone cable(cable with stereo pin )
i you know how to solder it ,do it your own or
disassemble your headphone cut off the wires near speaker(speaker leads should not damaged) and
watch this
and assemble it
check you headphone

cseian

Can't get sound through speakers/headphones

You need to connect the speaker wire coming from the monitor to your PS3 if you want the sound to come out of the monitor speaker. Normally, you need an adapter for this.

No sound coming out of speaker, but headphone jack works!

Hi, I had the same exact problem. The speakers wouldn't work but sound came out of the headphone jack.
To fix my problem, i opened up the subwoofer unit and checked the fuse on the circuit board which seemed fine. Then i had a look at the wiring on the other side of the circuit board and noticed one of the wiring had fried leaving a gap in the connection and exposing the copper wiring. So i just soldered the two bits of wire together. Works fine now!  I just had to be careful when i finished soldering that the exposed wire wouldn't touch any of the other connections. I insulated the wires with a glue gun to keep it all in place.
hope this helps.
