Question about Samsung Washing Machines
My front loader won't start, in fact it shorts out the power in that part of the house. We have checked the filters and my boyfriend has had a good look inside and also checked the brushes. There was no smell and no indication whatever that there is anything wrong with the motor. He also cleaned the casing around the brushes. The drum appears to be fine as is the belt and by the looks, the board at the front. After having a good look we attempted to turn it on again. It came up with the error message, according to the manual, that the door was open. We checked the door. It then started shorting out again. Any ideas? Could it be the fuse? We had a look for this but couldn't seem to locate it. Also, it was suggested that it could be the solenoid. Thank you :)
Time to get an accredited electrician in to check for insulation problems in the machine or in the house wiring, or plug lead

LE error code means the motor sensor has failed. The motor sensor is located in the back of unit inside the motor. You will need to order a replacement motor sensor from LG. You will need a 17 mm and 10 mm socket tools to do this job.

Its on the back of machine and after you remove the back cover plate youll see that its very easy to install the new one.You shouldnt have to use any tools to put on the new belt.Just loop it around the motor pulley and around the large tub pulley that you see right in front of you.It may even appear to be too tight while your winding it on the pulleys but its not .

possibly the suppressor capacitor. take lid off and trace where mains input is connected and that is the suppressor. they sometimes go pop
other possibility is the neon burnt out

An OE error presents if the washing machine has not successfully drained the water in ten minutes.
there are a few simple steps to take before calling for service.
Step 1: Check the drain pump filter.
Items caught in the drain filter will prevent proper drainage. Over time build up can occur from detergents and additives used in the machine. Manually drain unit through the drain hose, then lay a towel down to catch the water, and remove the filter. Clean the filter thoroughly and restart the machine.
Step 2: Check the washers drain hose.
If the drain hose is not installed properly, the washer will not drain properly. The drain hose should not be installed more than 1 meter higher than the bottom of the washing machine.
Step 3: Confirm that the washer is leveled properly.
If the unit is not leveled properly, it will not drain properly. The front of the unit cannot be higher than the back or vice versa. If not properly leveled, the water can flow back into the machine. If this is the cause of the problem, please level the machine using the supplied leveling wrench. When you place a level on the washing machine, the bubble should be in the center. Confrim that the washer is leveled from side to side and front to back.
you can perform a diagonal test when leveling the washing machine to ensure that the unit does not tilt from corner to corner.
