Question about Tecnik 24 in. TKD795/3 Built-in Dishwasher

Open Question

Where is the heater element on my Tecnik TKD 795/3 dishwasher and how do I replace it?

I have been having problems with my dishwasher and after consulting another website it has been suggested that it it my heater element. I was told to try and test it with a multimeter but was unable to locate the heater element and although the other website was helpful no-one has been able to provide me with accurate details to find the heater element. I have bought a spare so I can see what it looks like, but still unable to find the thing. Help.

Unfortunately you may have lost the controller or if you are lucky just a loose wire. You can get to all of this by taking the door cover off. If it is not a loose wire the control would be my next best guess. Sometimes they just go.

Trying to remove the decor door from my Tecnik 795/3. Removed the top two screws along the top of the door, and also the two long side screws half way down the door. It won't budge though so wondered...

I am not sure about which way the door comes off but I know of a company called Appliance Art that makes covers for existing appliances.
www.applianceart.com
These guys have all kinds of colors, textures, designs and stainless options for refacing your dishwasher--- then maybe you can save the hassle of removing the door at all.

Hi, We have Tecnik Dishwasher TKD 795/3 it wont seem to drain the water, we have tried to clear the pipes but they seem to be clear, Can you give us any tips on how to sort this problem out? Thank you

Hi, if the water doesn't drain from your dishwasher, check the drain line and pump..

A clog in the drain line or air gap (if there is one) is the usual reason that a dishwasher won't drain. Often the problem is at the point where the drain line attaches to the garbage disposer or household drain line. If you remove this line, you can clear any debris from the hose or hose connection. Be sure to reattach the hose before starting the dishwasher again.

Your dishwasher pump ejects the water. The pump is usually mounted directly to the motor, then attached to the bottom of the dishwasher. You can reach the pump from inside the dishwasher, but first you need to remove the lower rack, the spray arm, and the spray arm support.
Look for an impeller--a round plastic fan blade-type of device that spins around. This is the wash impeller, which forces the water through the spray arm. Beneath the wash impeller is the drain impeller, which is similar in size and shape to the wash impeller. The drain impeller pushes the water toward the drain port. These components make up the pump. If any of the pump components are defective, you need to replace them.
