There is a rubber tube that goes from the outside of the outer plastic bowl up to the pressure switch in the top panel. It is on the left rear corner. It may have been pulled off the pressure switch. Look under on that corner and locate where it is attached to the plastic bowl. if that is OK then follow the tube up and check top connection.
Hope this will help you.

My top loader Simpson ezi set washing machine over fills what can I check to get it working normal again

check the small tube to the level pressure switch
check the switch is working
check/replace the water control solenoid / diaphragm
tests are
with out clothes
select a low level wash
listen as the water flows in
when the tub is about 1/2 full the water solenoid shouf make a clunk sound and the water cuts off
at the same time the wash cycle begins
if the water comes right up and there is no solenoid sound then check the small tube or the water level switch
if there is the sound but the water continues replace the diaphragm in the solenoid

How do I stop the water from over filling

check the small tube from the bowl up to the water level sensor
check the water sensor is operational
check /replace the water control solenoid valve
it works like this
as the water flows into the bowl
it rises and that increases the pressure on a diaphragm in the water level switch buy means of the small tube
when that pressure is equal to the water level setting ( small , medium , large ) it overcomes the spring setting and breaks the circuit to the water solenoid valve which turns off . at the same time the pressure switch progresses the program to start the wash

IT KEEPS FILLING UP WITH WATER AND OVERFLOWS

There is a tube next to the drum that senses the water level, take the screws out of the back of the machine near the top and then you can lift the top off over the drum, look for the tube and see if it is plugged with lint dirt or softener. Clean it out. If that is not the problem then check the sensor that it plugs into to be sure it is not bad

Why won't the water in my whirlpool washer not turn off?

You mean that it wont stop filling? If it is continuing to fill when you start it, the water level sensor might be bad or plugged. IF it fills when it is off, unplug the machine to see if it stops. If it stops then it is the control board sending voltage to the valves. If it does not stop then the valve is stuck open.

I have a Hotpoint WLW 1500 RBLWM washing machine that will not read water levels , it just keeps filling until it over flows. what might it be?

There is a float that cuts off the water at a certain level. It could be stuck. My GE has gotten stuck before and overflowed. I do not know how to unstick it, but I'm sure someone on here would know.

F&P washing machine:GW709 doesn't cut out when filling

could b pressure switch tube is blocked or your control board with the pressure switch attached is faulty. empty water from machine, remove pressure switch hose from control board, blow thru tube to remove any blockages, refit tube. turn on cycle, select low water level, push start, after about 30sec"s push start again, that should stop it filling straight away. if the water stops push start again to continue filling. if it doesnt stop filling after restarting the cycle then it is your control module.if the water doesnt stop filling after the 30 sec stop it is the water valves. by the way what country do u live in because $120 seems to b alittle too expensive. please reply 4 more help.

Help! My fisher paykel washing machine won't stop filling up!

If the water continues to fill even if unplugged the water valve is sticking and needs replaced. if removing power turns the water off the water level pressure switch is bad or there is something plugging the sensor tube somewhere.

2 problems 1st is the washer continues to fill with water when i put in a new load second is it wont spin

If the water keeps filling without cutting off, you either have a faulty inlet solenoide or your pressure hose and or pressure switch needs checking.

To isolate the acutal problem, start the machine on a new cycle. Change the water level to minimum or low before you start. Let the machine fill up. Keep checking the water intake as it fill up. Once the water level goes over the half way mark in your tank, if the machine starts its wash action then your pressure hose and switch are o.k. as they have signalled to the timer that the water level selected, has been reached.

However if the machine keeps filling up even though the wash action has started, then you have a faulty inlet solenoide/valve. Turn off water at the tap and get the valve replaced.
