Jensen VM9411 malfunction no video messed up tilt

I installed the vm9411 in my grand prix about 3 weeks ago,
and every once in a while ill have the moniter out then the the moniter will turn off(black) and then if i try to close the moniter it will tilt all the way back and hit the dash and
the moniter close button doesnt work untill i turn off the car and steroe and wait like 15 mins. I bought the unit off sonicelectronics.com, also the media module isnt powered on, do they have a fuse inside?
