SOURCE: how to configure paradign modem adsl2 6211-A3-304 in bridge mode for BSNL Dataone Broadband connection

I belive with this modem you will:
1.Access the interface, generally http://192.168.1.1/
2. Go to Advanced on the left.
3. Select WAN.
4. Now you may see several rows of info, look for the one that says PPPoE, and then click edit to the far right.
5. Select Next one time.
6. Here select "BRIDIGING".
7. Click next all the way to the end.
8. Reboot, after you clicked save of course.

This is how you bridge 98% of PPPoE providers with a similar paradign modem.

Of course the next device in line will have to provide your username and password for your DSL connection.

Hope this helps!

SOURCE: does anyone know how to Do MAC address filtering

1st. Have a look at the wireless card that is inserted in your computer, check the label it, will have the MAC address printed on the label. If the wireless card is inside the laptop then have a look at the properties of the wireless card - it should give the MAC address of the wireless card.

2nd. Connect a LAN cable to the wireless router and enter the router's configuration URL address and go to the wireless configuration - then click on MAC address filtering and enter the MAC address of the wireless card.

The router will only allow the MAC addresses that are in this table to connect to the router.

For further information on securing your wireless network, please click on this link and follow my instructions :-

NIC Driver for TG782T modem

Firstly, can you tell us what version of operating system are you using? Windows XP onwards usually have the WIA drivers included, unless a absolutely new chipset! Or is it a Realtek R8111/8168/8169 network interface? You can download on another computer the driver kit from Realtek directly.

I need to use my telstra thomson TG782T modem on a different network how do i reconfigure it??

You need to contact your 3rd party service provider for the configuration settings for their network.
If you cannot change the settings on the Thomson modem then maybe the firmware is set to Telstra's network and cannot be changed. In this case you need to use the recommended modem suggested by your 3rd party service provider.
