SOURCE: Morigeau Lepine 2000 series crib - no manual

I have the Manual. The company went bankrupt at the end of November that is why no one can get through. Email this person with exactly what you need in parts and maybe you will get it.  I did and got no email response but they sent the parts in about 3 weeks. sarto.jean@morigeau.com I tried to attach the manual but it is too big the manual will come with a full set of parts. Good luck.

SOURCE: Morigeau Lepine 1900 Series Crib Conversion Kit

try giving Childen's Land in San Diego, CA a call. I contacted Mory at 858-689-9998. He is very nice and very familiar with various series of Morigeau Lepine cribs. I got my conversion kit to convert to a full sized bed last weekend. http://www.childrensland.net/
hope this helps!

SOURCE: need a piece of hardware (cam) for the Morigeau-Lepine crib.

We needed a cam, too and contacted the company that makes them in Mexico. Look on the cam and there is the company name, I think it's Indaux or something similar. Google them and you'll find their site and examples of the cam you need. Email them and let them know which one you need and they should be willing to sell you one for not that much. Good luck!

SOURCE: convert our Morigeau Lepine Crib to a toddler Bed?

Yikes, I stumbled upon this trying to figure out where the Morigeau website went. I bought my bed rails when I got the crib because I was worried the stain would age differently and not match. Lucky. I can't believe they are out of business... they had the best baby furniture imo, and I really wanted to buy an extra chest to go with my set.
I think you could just buy regular bed rails and screw it into the wood, BUT I bet the height won't be right for your drawer to work anymore if yours had a crib drawer.

We have a Morigeau-Lepine convertable crib-day bed-full size bed, but we are missing the instructions to convert it to the full-size. It's model number is DA722-BC & the model is somewhere between...

I can't offer the exact answer, but hopefully my suggestions will be helpful...

Converting the crib to a full-size bed should actually be a fairly simple process of detaching the 4 sides that make the crib, and replacing the 2 short sides with the full-size bed rails that were sold separately in a conversion kit. The 2 long sides of the crib become the headboard and footboard of the full-size bed.

Unfortunately, it's only a simple process if you already have the full-size conversion kit bed rails. And since Morigeau-Lepine went out of business, they aren't making any more conversion kits. If you don't have the full-size bed rails, then this could be quite difficult.

It's possible that some stores that used to sell Morigeau-Lepine cribs might still have a conversion kit hidden somewhere in the back of their stock room or warehouse. You could try calling around to a few of your local stores to ask if they would check for you. It's a long shot, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

If you have the rails, or are lucky enough to find them, then it should be as simple as locating the screws that hold the crib sides together, removing them (most likely with an appropriatly sized hex-key,) and putting the screws back through the headboard and footboard into the bed rails. (I'm really just assuming that it works the same as the Babi Italia conversion.) If no screws are visible, or if removing them doesn't detach the crib sides, then they are probably also held together with locking bed rail fasteners. To release the fasteners, remove any visible screws, then push upwards on the short side rail while pushing down on the long side rail. You might have to tap the rail up with a rubber mallot to get it moving.

If you don't have the full-size bed rails, and you can't find them anywhere, your only option may be to build them yourself, or find a woodworker to build them for you. Search online for "Bed Rail Fasteners" and you'll see several options for hardware, but they might require modifying the headboard and footboard as well. Full-size matresses are 75 inches long, so you'll want the length of your rails to accomodate (ours are 77 inches long.)

I hope I've been helpful. Good luck!

I went on line to try to get a manual, and found out my crib has been recalled. I bought it in 2006 at walmart will they rerfund for it?

I believe that this particular recall is not a traditional recall so to speak. A recall does not mean that they're actually recalling them, but more so it indicates a problem with the unit itself. This particular recall involves a kit that will fix the issue... The problem identified is reports of the side dropping down unexpectedly. The fix is a kit that they will send out, that will keep the drop down side from moving at all.
Here is some information about the recall itself, as well as a phone number to call regarding the recall.
The recalled wood cribs came in cherry, espresso, natural and white finishes. The name "LaJobi" and the crib's model number can be found on a sticker on the stabilizer bar or on the bottom rail of the crib.

The China- and Vietnam-made cribs were sold nationwide from February 2007 through March 2010 for $140-$200.

If you have one of the cribs, you are asked to stop using it until you receive a hardware kit from LaJobi that will immobilize the drop side.

For more information, call LaJobi at (888) 842-2215 or visit the company's website.

Convert our Morigeau Lepine Crib to a toddler Bed?

I called the store in pittsburgh where we bought our crib (Babyland) - since Morigeau is out of business, they said i can either get some kind of generic metal frame adapter at any hardware store, or there is a store in chicago www.lazarsfurniture.com - they told me that the store will do wooden adapters to match the colors of the original crib. I contacted the store by email and they said they "no longer have any inventory for Morigeau", but I'm going to call them to talk with a person and see what they can do.

we are sooooo kicking ourselves for not having purchased the conversion kit when we got the crib itself. oh well...
