Question about Vivitar ViviCam 3750 Digital Camera

Can't scroll through pictures, or upload them on to computer

I have about 16 pics on my camera, and while scrolling i can't get to pics 1-11. It freezes up and the screen blanks out. Power button won't even work and i have to take the batteries out, and reinstall them. Also when i try to take the pics off the camera onto my PC (even the ones i can see on my camera) it says there are no pictures to upload. Any help would be appreaciated, as i only have had this for about a month.

Thanks!

It sounds like your images have been corrupted. It can happen sometimes during transferring from you camera and many other reasons. You may want to try getting a card reader to eliminate/reduce that problem.

Perhaps I can help????
I don't know how many pictures you already took, but perhaps you did more than 10000? Your camera can shoot pictures in one directory, with numbers 0001 till 9999. When it reached 9999, it will automatically make a new directory and start over with number 0001. Not sure if that happened, but you could look for another directory on your memory card.

Then I do have a question. Do you mind what happens with your pictures when your camera dies? Because I think that is the only place you have all your pictures. (I hope I'm wrong) Or worse what if you lose your camera? Or did you already make backups from your pictures?
Try to make it an habit to backup all your pictures shortly after you took them. And one backup is none backup. At least two backups on 2 different media. Like one backup on your computer, one on an external hard disk, memory stick or DVD.

Hello

Please follow these steps:

insert card> turn on cam to auto> press review> "reading memory card" > press menu> scroll down to image storage> press ok to select> select INTERNAL MEMORY> press ok

scroll down to COPY> Copy pictures to memory card> scroll down to all> press ok
message to expect: "copying"

when it goes to back the menu screen
scroll to IMAGE STORAGE again and select AUTO> ok> "reading memory card"

This should do the trick.

Every time i take a picture on my camera it says memory full insert a Sd memory card to transfer and take more photos i havent took any pictures and i inserted a SD memory card

Try this...go into the menu and scroll to "reset"...follow the on-screen instructions. Then, without a card in the camera, go into the menu and scroll to "format"...follow the on-screen instructions. Then if the pics on your memory card are safely on your computer (use a card reader to do this if necessary) insert the card into the camera, go into the menu and scroll to "format" and follow the on-screen instructions. After all this, you should be ok.

If your pictures are safely downloaded, the best way is to format the card in the camera. Just scroll to "format" in the menu list and follow the on-screen instructions.
