sir/mam Reset button is located behind the copier remove the rear upper cover you see a circuit board with machine on depress the small black button on the board. If the code comes back then the fusing unit the hot part is broke could be thermistor, heat fuse, heat lamp or the board that controls it. Have a tech look at it. DO not continue to reset or a fire can occur that would ruin a perfectly good day :) Code is for the FUSER!!!! (HOT PART)

Did you do anything to the fusing unit (ie cleaning thermistors or replacing the fuser roller?) That code means you have a temperature problem.  It will also come up if your power cord is loose.  You can check it by taking off the back cover of the copier and pressing in the trouble reset button while the copier is on.  It's a small black button. If the code goes away, you're good to go. If it comes back, you might have to replace some of your fuser components.

My copier minolta cs/pro ep 2010 does not function. when you switch it on it displays a spaner symbol and error code 05

This is a C05 error code. This means you have a fuser error. The fuser is the section that gets hot right where the paper exits the machine. Most common failure in the fuser unit is the thermal fuse. The repair requires removal and some dis-assembly of the fuser unit to replace the fuse. Also have to use a special reset procedure to clear the C05 code from the machine after repairs are made. Do you have access to a local repair shop that can repair this for you?

C05

Sir to fix will require you to take the rear panel off with the copier on. the upper rear panel once you have it off. Then find the circuit board on it will be a small black button, lower right side. press it. the machine will reset if it comes back your fusing unit (The HOT) part has a bad lamp thermistor, or thermosat. And will need replacing. The code will not clear by powering off then on. or by opening and closing front door.
