Just unpacked the TTUSB and set it all up, played a record and its playing way too fast. I switched to 33rpm and its still way too fast?

the mic is in the computer somewhere, there will be a way to mute the microphone either in the vinyl software or in the system settings of the computer!

SOURCE: When i play a record,
This can be due to a bad head as when the ANGLE changes as the head moves closer to the center it could be changing in the angle due to counter weight on the head.
Try and adjust the position of the head, make sure there is no dirt, check the connections of the head and finally try with another good LP record.
