Question about LG 42LP1D 42 in. LCD HDTV
I could not find a place to email you directly. Hopefully, you have found it here. What timer are you referring to when you stated "try setting the default time on the timer to 00:00 see if that helps?" The timer I believe you are speaking about is the one where you tell the TV what time to turn itself on. That timer cannot be set for 00:00. It goes from 12: to 1:. Is there another timer you are referring to? Thank you, Michael
THE TV SHOWS THE RED POWER BUTTON. WHEN I TURN IT ON IT FLASHES GREEN FOR A FEW SECONDS AND THEN GO BACK TO THE SOLID RED. MAKES A CLICKING SOUND AS IF IT'S TURNING ON AND THEN OFF, BUT NOTHING HAPPENS WITH THE SCREEN OR PICTURE.

Sorry DrMike, I thought you could set the timer to 0. You did state that the timer was set to off correct?Let me do a little asking my LCD buds in the repair field.
