I dont think it has a built in bluetooth module.you may have to put an external one, like a blutooth dongle.

Does the acer aspire 5735-6694 have built in bluetooth

Hi,

Yes it does, and you can download the driver here. Before you do, there are two things you should check. 1st see if the device is already installed, and whether the system thinks it is functioning properly, or if it is disabled. To do this: 1.) Click Start > Right Click My Computer > click properties > Click the Hardware tab (at the top) > click Device Manger. Scroll down to Bluetooth, and double click it. 2.) On the general tab, it will say whether the device appears to be working properly or if it is not or disabled. If it isn't listed or not working properly, reinstalling it from that link may help.

If that doesn't resolve it, my 2nd suggestion is click Start > Control Panel, Bluetooth, and see if it is disabled.

Please let me know if I can be of further assitance.

Thanks

Bluetooth on aspire 4730Z

The 4730Z does NOT have bluetooth. Check the specs on it from acer's website. The reason for the buttons are that it share much hardware with the 4930 which does have bluetooth. You will need to add a bluetooth device if you want bluetooth.

Once again, the a4730 doesn't have bluetooth in it's stock form.

How do i activate blutooth on my acer aspire 6930?

Have you looked to see if there is a bluetooth software bundle that came with your computer? If there is it should be as easy as finding the program on your computer that runs the software. Once you locate the program you'll have to setup the software with your bluetooth device. If you do not have a bluetooth device, setup will not work as it needs the device to automatically sync with your computer.

Bluetooth

Determine based on the manufacturer of the PC what type of bluetooth device is installed. See if they have on their website and updated driver for the device, whether firmware or updated device.
My other solution is to right click on MY Computer Icon located on your desktop
Click on properties
Locate and click Hardware Tab
Locate and click Device manager
Look for bluetooth device in this list of devices
Once located if it has an X over it right click on it
Enable the device then try to push the button
This should fix the problem, it is probably disabled
