What is wattage for Hoover part No. 27313101

Also known as C912 bulb...and NOWHERE does ANYONE say what wattage it is! I have a 7 watt and 18 watt bulb that would fit this, but am unsure of which one to use. "Safe" says use 7 watt, but don't know if that would be bright enough.

SOURCE: Wattage for Kirby Sentria G10D

The conversion of Amps to Watts is governed by the equation
Watts = Amps x Volts

For example 1 amp @ 110 volts = 110 watts
your case 7 amp @ 120 volts = 840 watts
unless you are running it at 230v but I don't think you can
I would look for one rated for Volt-Amps instead of watts
It's best to round up to be safe add 40 - 60 watts

I need to find a converter that coverts 220V to 110V to use a blender from south africa

Hi all you need to get is a step down transformer, you need to obtain a 220v to 110 v step down transformer have a look at the below link to get the idea. You will need one that has a wattage of approx 500 watts to be safe. Anyone is as good as another really.

Hoover rug cleaner is leaking water profusley from tank at the underside of equioment.

call hoover with your model and serial number ...this is a known problem with these and Hoover is replacing the tanks for free on defective units...you should have a new tank in about 7 days
oh and dont forget to flush out your solution pump regularly by emptying the solution and filing it with water then spray for about 3 min into a sink ...these pumps are known to lock up from soap residue when it dries..the pump is about $50 plus labor

My girlfriend has a Hoover upright vacuum, Mdl. # U4645-930. I need a belt for the brush and a new bulb and am having trouble finding the correct part numbers so I can pick one up locally. Can you help?

I checked with Hoover and they said the part number for the belt is #38528040, for the bulb #27313101, and they also included a part number for something called an agitator #48414081. Not sure if this is required to replace one of the other parts. You might ask when ordering. To order, call 1-330-499-9499 or online at www.Hoover.com.

Does anyone know what the wattage is on a Kirby Ultimate G? I'm moving to the UK and need to know what size transformer to buy! Thanks

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. My suggestion is that you contact the Kirby Co in Cleveland listed below and they will instruct you on the wattage and also what you need for a transformer, or look underneath the vacuum and there should be a sticker stating the amps and maybe the watts, but also the information may be in the owner’s manual or they will mail one out to you, there might be a local Kirby dealer in your area that might have a manual as well. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.
