Question about Acer Computers & Internet
Comes on in a blue screen saying enter 'CURRENT password'? wont boot up windows
Somehow the BOIS password has been enabled. If you dont know this password then you going to prob have to take to a computer shop unless you know how to access the motherboard and remove the cmos battery and short the terminals for 10 seconds. this will erase the memeory and reset the bois to default which doesnt require a password.
Hope this helps

i think is a factory fault most systems comes with factory passwords like that.
now u must find out if its a hard drive password which i dont think is thru.if its a bios password then u will need to erase the bios chips which is a risky thing to do if u r not an expert.
hard drive password can not be recovered all u do is change a hard drive.
bios password can be erased if u meet an expert.
i suggest u give them d 100 dollrs n get it fixed.
hope this helps

You should contact Acer. They know they have a display problen with the Acer Aspire One that can be fixed with a BIOS upgrade. We got our done. They sent us a USB thumb drive with the files and instructions on how to boot the thumb drive. After a couple of minutes the Acer restarted and all is fine.

Check that the password you entered was not in Caps. If you have entered the right code but being told invalid then do a bios reset. Thank you.

An unmountable boot volume error means that the operating system cannot boot from the hard drive either because the boot files are corrupted, the hard drive is faulty or there is a problem with the cable connecting the hard drive to the computer. If you are booting your PC and come across a Blue Screen of Death stating UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME, don't despair.
You would need to repair the volume inorder to fix this issues.
To repair the volume, follow these steps:
