The problem of your television is the abnormal screen like the pincussion in booth side and bar at top and buttom. The cause of that is the abnormal supply voltage of the crt board. The power supply have low output voltage because deffective and leak parts like the regulator transistor or capacitor. If the power supply is low voltage it affects the apperance of the screen of the TV.So its better to replace the deffective parts of you television to came back the normal appearance of you TV.If you do not know how to repair and troubleshoot its better to called a repair technician.
You should see first the RAM modules. eject one and try to start the pc without that. If starts you have to replace that module. If dont, try with the other one. do the same with HDD and each Motherboard periferic (DVD, Card reader etc.)
You are going to have to get down on your knees and in the lower part of the front grill closer to the drivers side of the vehicle will be a black cap covering the block heater plug. The cap is on a hinge and ours flipped towards the passenger side if I remember correctly.
if you tried to take youre psp battery apart to try and make a pandoras battery then all you need to do to turn it on is to take battery out plug charger in turn on put battery back in pull charger out and ther you go. if thats not youre case thene im sorry
try to check first if theres an output voltage in the wall outlet. if there is, you have a completely inoperative (dead) set.
this symptom is usually caused by a breakdown in the power supply circuit. in most modern receivers (transistorized and/or IC), it may also be caused by a breakdown in the horizontal deflection circuits (horizontal oscillator, pre-drive or drive circuits). this is because the supply voltages for the tuner, video intermidiate frequency (VIF), video amplifier, sound intermidiate frequency (SIF) and vertical output circuit are usually supplied by the horizontal output circuit. but again, if you are not inclined in this kind of job, better bring it to a qualified tv technician. good luck!
i beleive the problem of your TV is the horizontal circuit probably cold solder. if you have soldering equipment, try to resolder the circuit. but if you don't know anything about this, i suggest you bring it to a qualified person.
The problem with this set is most likly the flyback transformer, the horizontal output transistor, and possibly the supply voltage resistor off the horizontal driver transformer. Its a repair a pro should only attempt, as its the Hi Voltage circuit and a TV set is not a place to experiment with or tinker in them. This repair in my area cost anywhere from $175 to $250 to repair. Good Luck
