Door light blinks but never comes all the way on. changed the light still does the same thing

Hello....sounds to me like you have a problem the momentary contact switch that is activated by opening the door..and deactivated by closing the door...I'm not sure how east it will be to find a replacement switch...If you still have the manual...you can check there..or maybe go online..or have a service call to replace the switch...If you have problems...let me know the make and model of the fridge and I will see if I can help you....I hope this was helpful......PEACE....

have you checked the door switch for each door? the lights should still work in defrost mode but not fans or compressor.

In my freezer, there is a blinking red light next to the icemaker on-off switch. What is it and why is it blinking?
It might be blinking because it hasn't been able to reach the required temperature or the temperature you have set. Probably leaving it close for one or two days, the light will go off, if not, you might consider changing the plastic isolation of the door, you know, the plastic thing that you see goes around the freezer door, best luck.
