Intec PS2 wireless controller blinking red won't connect

Just bought a new intec wireless controller for my PS2 and it will not sync. Batteries are brand new. Receiver keeps blinking blue and the controller connect button keeps blinking red. Have no idea why they will not connect.

There is no reset button anywhere, good idea but no such luck.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: connecting

Is there a reset button on the controller itself on the original controllers its on the top of the controller that will usually do the trick.
Good luck,
Lee

SOURCE: I have a logitech G-X2D11

Try this out since it solved the same problem for me:

a) Turn your PS/2 on with the receiver plugged in. You'll get the green flashing LED on the receiver
b) Remove one of the batteries from the controller.
c) Keep R1 and R2 buttons together while inserting the battery back on the controller.
d) After 5 seconds or so release R1 and R2 buttons.

And that's it - at least for me.

I got this idea after checking Logitech site and reading about the analog controls calibration procedure (basically the same sequence while pressing L1 and L2 buttons).

Merry Christmas...

Hi, i have a wireless remote for a PS2 and i can not remember how to sync it? can you please help?

Depending on the brand of controller you bought there should be a sync button on the controller and the receiver. With the receiver plugged into the console hold the buttons for about 5 seconds then let go. There may only be a sync button on the controller and not on the receiver. in that case do the same steps but only withe the controller.

If the light on the controller is flashing then the batteries are still good. There is a small reset button on the receiver that came with the controller. use a needle to reset it while it is still in the ps2. make sure that the ps2 is turned on and the green light is flashing on it. it should blink a few times and then the light on the controller should turn red. once it does then press start and your good to go.
Hope this helps!

Guitar not connecting

Try turning off your guitar and pushing and holding the button on the receiver in for 5 to 10 secs. Turn on guitar and they should be sync'd. If that doesn't work, turn off PS2 disconnect from power supply for a minute or so, plug everything back in and sync the receiver and the guitar again.

Make sure that there are no other wireless controllers in the room to interfere with setup. Remove the batteries and start from square one again. I have 4 wireless controllers and had to do this to get each one to sync right.

I've used the 62150 black combo (not 62150N Deluxe silver) on XP Pro for years with no problem. Manual said to sync, press ID button on receiver and LED will blink fast, then slower. While blinking, press ID button on keyboard and mouse (need pen or something to press mouse button). If receiver LED blinks whenever you move mouse or hit keyboard, it is receiving. If OS doesn't recognize, may be connectors. I had 2 separate PS2 ports and had to use an USB adapter for the keyboard cable.
