Only one decimal place is displayed on my old TI BA-II

I have an old TI BA-II - I cannot find my user manual - and I cannot figure out how to get more than one decimal place to display. This is not the PLUS very so the functions and keys are much different and I cannot find a user manual of help on line for this older model - everything is for the TI BA-II Plus Please note this is NOT the BA-II Plus

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

The TI BA-II Executive Business Analyst (maybe not your model) has a key labeled FIX. It is in the middle of the topmost row of keys. Press the FIX key followed by the number of decimal digits you want.

No decimal display on TI BA-II calculator

Your BA II PLUS stores numeric values internally to an accuracy of 13 digits. However, the numbers it displays depends on the number of decimal places to which you have it set (choice of 0–9 or floating decimal). To set the number of decimal places displayed to three: hit [2ND][FORMAT][3][ENTER]This setting also continues indefinitely (even though the calculator is turned off and on) until it is changed.

SETTING UP THE DECIMAL ON NEW 210 TM

Set the +43210F switch to + (or 2).
On some models it is A43210F, then use A (or 2).
+ mode will let you enter numbers (monetary) without the decimal point and assumes cents; 2 mode will just round to 2 decimals, but you must enter the decimal.
