Tv keeps turnig off

You have the V26 chassis with it's notorious problems caused from leaky capacitors. The fix for this is a multitude of capacitors replaced on the DM board, FMT board and the power supply. The right thing to do is to call Mits consumer relations @ 1-800-332-2119 with model, serial and date of purchase and they should be willing to make a concession for discount on a new Mits DLP. That's your best bet. This TV will continue to haunt you otherwise.

This is going into a protect mode. Something wrong in the main power supply or possibly a high voltage splitter problem or even a flyback. Would be best to get it into a good TV Service Shop and have them look it over.

My screen is turning colors

May it have been knocked about so the projectors are out of alignment, or may it have been standing next to a powerfull magnetic field?

It may also sound like a mirror may have become misaligned, since the top half is affected
