Question about Computers & Internet
You have already diagnosed the;
A) AC adapter (Charger)?
1) You have taken a multimeter, set the Function knob to DC Voltage, and tested the AC adapter to see if it is putting out 18.5 Volts? (DC)
2) You had an assistant gently wiggle the power cord to the charger, AND the power cable from the charger to the laptop?
Diagnosed to see if there is an intermittent reading due to broken wires?
B) Checked out the DC Power Jack that the AC adapter plugs into?
(DC IN)
{ It's a DC Power Harness. The jack has a cable with a connector on the end }
Jack is in good condition? Center Pin doesn't move, outer metal shell doesn't move?
DC Power jack solder connections are good, not cracked?
Then you are looking for the power sensor chipset. It is a power MOSFET,

This is one that is used in a LOT of laptops,

The external power supply is ok, with 19,5 Vdc.
The connectors are good and checked it.
The first integrade, the power converter to 5,0V and 3,3V dc is ok and have two control pins to start the convertion are ok too.
The dual color led in input connector have two mosfet in control. When I put 3V in gate, these leds are on.
The problem is betwen these lillte mosfets and the electronic circuits near battery connectors. I dont find the electronic schemmatic for this motherboard.
Thanks again and sorry my english.
