Question about Televison & Video
Hi, I have a Samsung SP-54T6HP Projection TV. Chasis Nr.s are
P54A/J52A/PCL545R/SP43T6HF. My screen went black while I was watching TV but the sound was OK and I unplugged the Tv and a few hours later replugged, the picture came back for about 15 minutes but, went again. at the moment I have sound only. Replugging process did't work again.
I can't find the schematics :-(
Any solution and / or a scematic if you have would be great help
thanks in advance

After 11 years???? OMG This set is a tired pup and should be put to reast. My experience with older sets and your complains are all capacitor problems and is only gonna get worse as the first time around repair will take several capacitors to repair. This set has no user serviceable parts inside so you should not attempt a repair suchj as this on your own.. This repair if you decide to go through the first time will be About 300 to 600 bucks the first time and cost will continue to raise till the sets put to sleep. Good luck

I have the same problem. The only way to get the TV to come on is to unplug it, but once you get it back on it turns itself off again in a few minutes.

SHUT DOWN CAN BE INTERMITTENT OR AT POWER ON. CHECK FOR LEAKEY OR SHORTED Q570 PART # 260P560040 ON THE MAIN PCB.

Where did you purchase the convergence amps previously? Your set takes two STK392-040 Sanyo amps and there is a high probability that that is the problem here again. The convergence amps for these units are really critical and chinese knock-offs are abundant. Is it possible that you didn't get Sanyo originals?
Another thought is what about the heat sink used when they were installed? Did you do the installation or have it done professionally?
I doubt seriously that unplugging the unit will have any affect.
