It's a problem with the driver. Try to uninstall and reinstall the driver of your printer first. If that didn't work, use an updated driver. Go to HP's website and download the latest driver for your printer model. Meanwhile you can try to reset the printer. Unplug the USB and power cable for about 3 mins. Then plug it back in.
