the display to display codes. Code 37.0, 37.3 and 38. Codes 37 and 37.3 have to do with the immobilizer, and code 38 just says can line. Could the immobilizer possibly be shot? the Can Line does the communication between the display and ECU? If there an issue with this could that be causing the immobilizer issue? Also Immobilizer is the security system in the bike. There is a ring around key cylinder that reads resistance in the key. and communicates it to the ecu, if it does not read the programmed resistance the bike will not start. Or maybe unpluged everything to try to reset ecu and cluster. think about replacing the ecu, and cluster. If you do this you may need to replace both of them along with the keys, and key cylinder.Hope it helps.
U didn't explain y u wanna reset the immobilizer system.. Is it ur MB immobilizer system lock n car can't start or ur remote can activate ur centre locking system..? If yes try dissemble the mob key ( key with a big round button ) n use the key lock/unlock rear trunk n press ur mob key point to rear mirror at the same time..
There is no "code" to the key (security) immobilizer system. If the key looses its programming, you need a dealer to re-program the key. Some mechanics have the software to do it also, but not many. Once the immobilizer locks out your key, there is no "do it yourself" fix. Dealer reprogram only.
Sounds as if your immobilizer bypass is malfunctioning. To test, remote start vehicle. Check vehicle cluster (gages). If the immobilizer bypass is the issue, there will be car/lock symbol flashing rapidly. To confirm, put the key in the ignition(do not turn), remote start the vehicle. It should start. If the vehicle starts, remove key, remote start again without key. If the vehicle does not start, have the immobilizer serviced. If the vehicle does not remote start with the key in the ignition, the issue may be with the remote starter's starter output.
I lost my key for my 1993 Honda Prelude the factory fitted immobiliser is preventing me from starting the car with a new key purchased by having one cut to suit the door lock can you please hel[p me disconnect or disarm it cheers Glen
when you try to start or when the key is in the on position and you see something red in the instrument cluster or on the dash near windshield blink very fast then it's the encrypted key not being read by computer. no way around this. only dealership or a locksmith can program a new key.
if you dont see this fast blink light then it's not the encrypted key.
